"I had such a great experience with 40 over 40 shoot with Lakesha Miner. She kept in communication throughout the process with updates, recommendations, and suggestions for the big day. It had been over 20 years since my last professional photo shoot, y'all remember Glamour Shots right? Well, this was NOT that! I was so pleased with the entire process. Starting with my makeup makeover. It was perfect for my style which is usually minimalist! Oh boy did she turn up, it was fabulous! I loved that the make up was light, nothing caked or heavy! It really didn't feel like I was wearing any.

Now onto the shoot; I had a casual, professional, and boudrie shoots. I told Lakesha I was no fuss and open to her vision in the shoot. She was also open to some of the poses that just happened naturally and she made them all look so amazing. I cannot wait to get the prints! Overall it was such a great experience and even though I intentionally signed up for this, I did not know how much I needed this. I have just lost 100lbs and these photos were the perfect milemaker to something that has been impacting my life for over the last 15 years. She captured the physical visualization that I had when I started my weight loss journey, what I call my fierce self! This shoot helped remind me of who I am, what it means to be a woman and be proud of my body and how I was created. This was such a great experience. LaKesha is simply the best. From our first conversation until I got my photos, she was easy to work with, positive, and encouraging.
