Hi there! I’m Lakesha Miner, the photographer and owner of Lakesha Miner Photography, based in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.

At the age of 38, I made the decision to leave my 15-year career in Human Resources with the federal government to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship and photography full-time. It was one of the most empowering choices of my life, and it’s that same empowerment I strive to bring to every session with my clients.
